Migrants tend to head to global cities. Dubai and Brussels have the highest number of foreign-born population at 83% and 62% respectively. According to the World Economic Forum, South Africa is the 17th most popular recipient of refugees by number, but new arrivals measured as a percentage of the population are less than 5%. Nearly one in five (19%) of the world's total migrants went to live in the United States. Germany and Russia together took in one in 10 (9.7%). To read more, click here.
