The World Economic Forum's (WEF) annual meeting is scheduled to take place from January 23-26, 2018 with the theme 'creating a shared future in a fractured world'. The 48th meeting is set to host 3 000 participants including presidents, prime ministers and business leaders. Records of attendees released for the first time report that 58 South Africans have been confirmed as attending the meeting (down from 61 in 2017).
